Of course my mind goes into knitting mode when I find out my daughter has thyroid cancer. I think, “What can I make to bring awareness to it?” The first thing that comes to mind is the breast cancer awareness washcloth that I have made. I made that using the colors pink, purple and teal that represent thyroid cancer awareness. They also use a butterfly as a symbol using those same colors.
