Last month a sermon at church talked about how God’s favorite word to us is, “Yes,” and the most life giving thing we can do is to say,”Yes” back to God.

Have you ever heard the saying, “Build a bridge and get over it?” That is exactly what you need to do when someone offends you. Holding a grudge is only hurting the one that holds it. Sin and pride are what get in our way.

Am I really loving others and sharing my knitted gifts like I have been blogging about? Is what I say a reflection of what is in my heart?

Do I really trust God when I am afraid? Worry is a sin the that many of us probably struggle with on a daily basis.

In my book club, there are a few ladies that don’t read their books on an electronic device because they like having a physical book with pages to turn. I get it. While I do like the convenience of reading books on my Kindle or IPad, sometimes I need a real book with pages to keep track of what is going on in the story.
