Not many of us like change. We get used to doing things a certain way and when it is suggested to do things differently, we may resist. It isn't easy, but sometimes it is necessary for us.

“You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you. But remember the root command: Love one another.” —John 15:16-17 (MSG)

With last week being the 4th fo July, it got me thinking about the freedoms we have. Here in the United States, we have the freedom to worship whatever religion we want.

Last month a sermon at church talked about how God’s favorite word to us is, “Yes,” and the most life giving thing we can do is to say,”Yes” back to God. 

“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”—Colossians 3:15 (NLT)
